I had the same thing happen to me in my right buttock - a shot of kenalog caused a small depression, which over a 4 month period turned into an indentation about the size of a golf ball. Good news is, my dermatologist was able to fix it over a 6 month period from shots of saline, once a month. What happens is, if the kenalog is not given correctly, crystals form in the fat and it causes the depression. If saline is injected, over a 6 month time period it will dissolve the kenalog crystals and the tissue will grow back again and you will be normal! I never thought my butt would look the same again but it has healed just like my doctor said. There are no side effects to injecting saline so I suggest you try it! Good luck and stay positive!
