I have been taking this BC for two full months now and have started the third. I have lost so much blood the last two periods, but my doctor says I am not anemic. Yet I am white as a ghost and have heart palpitaions. My blood pressure has dropped to 101/40 and she has no explanation for why I am as white as a ghost. This has been going on for two weeks now. I am desperately thinking of stopping my pack. I also have muscle cramping in my legs, but the doctor seems to think it is low iron, but when she checked it, she says that my level is just fine. I contribute it all to this Yasmin crap!
Ask to have your blood pressure and potassium levels checked. You can even check the blood pressure youself at a store. The machines are supposed to be routinely calibrated, but they are relatively accurate.
Dear all,
I am surprised with all your comments and i am sorry to do such a harm.
I initially started to take YASMIN at my age of 16 to regulate my menstruation. I am now 26, nearly 27 years old. So far I have no negative side effects that I want to share because there are none.
The only thing I can share with you is that I have had a nice facial skin (no acne), didn't put on weight, regularised menstruation. Maybe had became a bit more moody, but to assure that it was from YASMIN intake I had to remove from my medical and social history all the factors that could have cause it. Example: relationship issues, moving to another country, life independency... I mean there are a lot of side factors that could have helped the increase of stress levels and so forth...
Before making any judgement about what YASMIN makes be sure you are doing health exams properly.
Read all the information about other pilules' side effects. Because be in mind that all the pilules and whatever medication or antibiotics has...
be well...
Patricia
