What goes into a class action lawsuit? My husband and I have thrown around this idea but don't know what all it will entail. We don't have money to hire a lawyer. However, the public needs to be made aware of the severe side effects that can come with the use of Mirena.

I have been on Mirena for about 16 months now and until reading this post did I realize the welts/hives I have been experiencing is linked to Mirena. It has gotten worse as time goes on. It covers my body. I have extreme itching in a spot, then it becomes covered in red spots, then huge welts appear. The area spreads very quickly and in other areas all over my body as well. On the 4th of july it covered both my legs, arms and my chest. It drives me crazy. I do have the moodiness and cramps, but I can deal with that more than the itching and welts.
