I had Mirena for a total of three months before I got it removed. I gained 30 lbs, joint pain, constantly bloated, and felt horrible every single day. Plus I had full period the whole time I had it! My OB tried his best to get me to keep it in but I wanted it out that day! I felt back to normal after a month and now after three months I've finally got all the weight off of me.
