I'm pretty sure my son had the hepB shots at the recommended ages He does NOT have asthma only allergies
& Yes he did have the rotavirus shot
My 2 girls did get the hep b vaccine, but not the rotovirus. They do not have asmtha.
Here goes-8 year old son, mild asthmatic, Hep B vaccine 8-26-99, 11-2-99, 3-8-2000, on singulair 2003 to 2008, NO rotavirus vaccine.
6 year old son- considered reactive airway before the age of one, mild seasonal asthma now, Hep B 11-27-01, 1-31-02, 3-28-02. He WAS in a rotashield study as an infant, in 2001, and did receive the vaccine. He was on singulair from 2004-2008.
I will checking back to see what you find out. Thanks for all your research.
The reason that I ask is that there are websites - doctors and parents- that ask questions about vaccinations and the sudden appearance of asthma. Singulair was launched the same year as the hepatitis B vaccine. Merck was one of the hepatitis B vaccine providers.
I will start posting information from those sites if those website have any links that look reliable. I am not trying to promote anything. The timing of the launch is not related - I guess.
Research hepatitis B vaccine. It is worth the time.
