Hi, you post struck me. Femcon is an oral contraceptive, right? I ask becasue when I was on OC's I experienced some hair loss, too, so I believe it's a common side effect. More importatnly, recently I began to lose a substantial amount of hair & couldn't figure out why?!? It turned out the Zyrtec I've been taking for the last 2 years, my doctor prescribed for chronic allergies, cause severe hemolytic anemia, requiring hospitalization. Well, it turns out that anemia can cause hair loss, because yur body is starved for oxygen. With the lack of oxygen, your body will protect the vital organs to keep you alive, so things like hair follicles, and skin pores get deprived of oxygen because the brain and heart need it. If you have a good relationship with you doctor, ask for a blood count, that will show anemia. If you're not anemic, & I hope you're not, you may have to try a different pill. Just beware, all hormonal pills will affect hair loss/growth to some extent. Good luck.
