I must be one of the "unusual" cases. I have been taking Flomax for about 4 years with no significant side effects. It took about 7 days for my system to adjust but after that I have had very few problems. I do have an occasional sinus problem but none of the other symptoms described in these posts. Flomax was prescribed because of BPH and urinary difficulty. It has worked very well for me.

I have been using Flomax as well for about 6 months now for slight BPH. I feel like I'm young again in the urinary/sexual department. Even penis size has come back to normal. I attribute that to Flomax relaxing the muscles that were drawing it in before. I have a constant stuffy nose, though--- seem to have to choose between breathing and peeing. Also have dizziness if I stand up too fast, etc. Still, I recommend it highly.
One question though, has anyone else experienced a loss of the sense of smell while using it? After a flu attack in March, I have either been unable to smell anything or everything smells like an ashtray. It's been 3 months now. I was wondering if it might be related to the stuffiness from Flomax.
