HI, i too have to say i am kind of relieved after reading this website that i am not alone with my experiences of the kenalog injection. I was given kenalog injections to treat hayfever, although i wasn't told the name of the injection. They did help and i probably would of continued this year if it wasn't for the side effects. I was told that to have one a yr was safe, then just before xmas i noticed a dent on my hip, this started getting larger and looked almost like scare tissue, I too was worried i had some sort of flesh eating disorder. The dent is still there and i will never have that injection again. I also have been experience problems with my hips and pain around my coxis,i am not sure if this too is related to the injection. I was told by my doctor who is very good that the kenalog had eaten my fat tissue causing a dent and that it will get better in time.

I recieved the shot Kenalog in August of 2007. I had a bad case of poison ivy. I noticed a few days after the shot that there was a large bruise, and a dent about the size of my thumb nail. It now has grown to the size of my fist, and still looks very bruised. I also started my period shortly after the shot and it lasted on and off (more on than off) for 3 weeks. I have had very heavy bleeding since then and my periods last more than a week at a time. I have been extremley tired and emotional since the shot was given to me. Not to mention the pain Im having in my hip, and lower back. I have read that Kenalog "kills the muscle tissue and your body then absorbs the dead muscle" . Thats what causes the dent. If anyone has any other info. or advice please let me know. Im not against taking this to a class action law suit. I am outraged that doctors give this shot to people. I was NEVER warned of any side effects!!!

Hi,
The best natural thing to take for hay fever or any other allergy is bee pollen complex. You can order it from Pruitan pride vitamins. If you can buy real honey from a local source by where you live, that is also great if you like honey. You can eat a spoonful and symptoms usually subside. You can also check on real raw honey. Google info on using honey as an antibiotic and for allergies. You'd be amazed how great it is. Why won't the doctor tell you, no MONEY to be made. My son gets poison a lot, and the last time he read about putting your hand ,(which was what was affected), into water as hot as you can stand, and it went away. He works in the Forest Preserve so he is around more than usual. I hope this helps.
