Ugh, I can't believe what I'm reading! I'm 39 and was put on this pill (my first time ever on BCPs) to correct a likely hormone issue that was causing me to bleed for a month. I started just 4 days ago, and I've been tired, headachy, moody, and I also have some pain in my right lower abdomen that is tender to the touch. This blows! Long-timers, does this improve? If not, I'm telling my dear doc to get me off these things!
I too am experiencing throbbing in lower right area which also throbs in lower right back area and down my right leg. I am not on birth control. Doctor thinks it is caused by the tubal I had 4 years ago, I am not so sure. Seems to go away when I get my period then it comes back again full force. When I went to the doc it had got so bad that the pain woke me up one night & has been throbbing ever since. Any ideas? I am going for my regular pap in a week or so, maybe then they can tell me.
Yes I've been experiencing weird pains in my lower right abdomen; sometimes it shifts to my upper right under my ribcage, and sometimes I feel tenderness in my kidney area in my lower back. I haven't noticed any of these pains before--I was wondering if maybe they were gas pains or something like that. But I too have been wondering if they're from the pill--I've been having all kind of weird issues that I'm starting to think are from this damn pill!
I always get sharp pains in my right side, almost as if its under my rib cage. I had an ultra sound done on the area and they couldn't find anything. I am really worried that this could be something serious and the dr.s are just over looking it. I get it a few times and day and can not figure out what it is caused by. If anyone can help explain what i should tell my dr. to look for, I'd appreciate it!
