I have been on femcon for about a year and a half and prior to that i was on ovcon for 4 years. The only side effect I have had with taking femcon is headaches. However, for the past week, I've been experiencing breast tenderness. I take Femcon everyday and I use condoms as a backup plan to be extra safe. Does anyone know all of a sudden why a person may experience new side effects despite being on Femcon for a year?? is this normal?

I was on Femcone for 5 months and it was a gradual thing for me I started taking them in December and here we are in May and it just started to effect me. I think that it interferes with things and changes in our bodies and something just happens one day and whatever they put in Femcone counterreacts with it.

The headache could be something else, not necessarily the pill, particularly since you've been on this pill for over a year. Might be changes in your own body chemistry that come with age or it could be stress at home/work; not saying it's not the pill, but might want to take stock of what else is going on in your life and discuss with your doctor. Good luck!
