hello i am 31 and have every problem as you i even had all the same test as you and i passed too the only difference is i was told that i have a thick heart muscle they say only by ten percent but i am really pushing myself to lose weight for the past three weeks i have been exercising and walking. i even start eating light i gave up fried too. i am trying to find out what is triggering my anxiety too. i think i am going to go see a chinese medical doctor. they are heavily into treating the body without all of the medication. they are into natural healing and thats the route that i need to go instead of all the medication considering they are only testing the medication out to see if its right for you they dont really know if its right for you.
From my experience with Lisinopril, I believe your current anxiety/panic attacks are being caused by the Lisinopril. I was given 10 mg in February 2008. The dose was reduced to 5 mg in March, and within a week, I started having panic attacks as I was falling asleep. After finding this site, I discontinued the Lisinopril and immediately stopped having panic attacks. After a month, I decided to try 2.5 mg of Lisinopril to keep my hbp in check. Within a couple days, the panic attacks returned. Needless to say, I am now taking NO Lisinopril. As long as my blood pressure stays very close to normal ranges, I probably won't go back on hbp meds.
Hi, My name is Tazi and I have had problems with panic disorder and anxiety for 18 yrs. I am on both of those meds you mentioned but I take Paxil for my anxiety. Mine started with my mothers death. If I could help you at all or just want to talk tazimad2@yahoo.com contact me
I have all the same issues exactly Im not sure what Im going to do Im thinking of not taking it any more and eat right to keep my bp within normal range...The feelings of chest pain and dizzness etc is most likely causing some of the pannic attacks I only feel good on the weekends and at home this sucks...
Hi,
First of all.............Get a new DOCTOR. Second of all, Atenolol is a beta-blocker. That is for lowering your blood pressure and it also lowers your hear rate. It is not an anti-anziety pill. The problem with anti-anziety pills are they are addictive which can cause more problems for you down the road if used frequently. If you were 80, I'd say........who cares, but your only 40. Could you be going thru the change of life? That's one of many symptoms you could get. Also, you should have your thyroid checked. By the way. ...........if your a male, disreguard the change of life possibility. Good Luck
