I was taking Yasmin until mid 2007 and took a break until 3 month...

Sounds like a thyroid problem to me or just downright stress. Hair loss on birth control never heard of such a thing. I have tried every birth control pill or shot there is and so far with Yasmin face is clearing up, breasts went up a size and some weight loss. As far as libido, any time you take anything your body isn't use to you will see some changes that level out after the 3 months. I actually noticed energy increase. so it depends on the person. I too have noticed the arm, shoulder and hand tingling but that is so far the only negative on this pill. I have noticed no extreme mood swings like I have experianced on other bcp's. I would try it you'll probably like it. The posting by dillionb2 is another issue and i'm sure the docter will confirm that its many issues all together. We just hope that she posts her future docter visit. Any one with sense can see that the posting is more than yasmin.

I had similar experiences. I was on yasmin from sept06 until march 08. in dec.07 i woke up feeling my heart racing, anxiety attacks, fatigue, no appetite, muscle aches, light headed. the doctor told me i had some kind of flu. this went on for months until i found this message board. i stopped the yasmin in march. after one full cycle its like i was never sick. i will never never go back on the pill. so good luck with everything.
