4 weeks post removal of Mirena. I have a question, and I am gonna try to not be so blunt, but I want to know if anyone else is having the same thing...intercourse and more so "inner" foreplay is a bit uncomfortable/painful, almost like the way it felt when the Mirena was in...anyone else having this problem? I have my yearly exam coming on June 5th and this is an issue I am defiantly gonna touch on. I'm just wondering if it damaged my cervix?!

Hi! It makes 3 weeks post-removal for me today. We are trying to conceive and so we ahve to try and try. At first it was all good and we were not trying so hard becasue of my removal. The se last 2 times i did notice a bot of sensitivity, like if the Mirena was in. I don't know if it could be that we are at the point of ovulation or our body trying to normalize, maybe? Our cervix and uterus are trying to get back to normal? I am nervous that it may have messed around with our sensitivity and all that in there as well. Hormones are nothing to play around with. I learned the hard way with the Depo and now this little evil thing, no matter how low the dose. Just to feel that odd sensitivity again scared me. i thought I was getting back to normal, finally. Even this week I experienced some moodiness, so I don't think it will be completely out of our system yet. And if it is gone, then it has wreaked so much havoc in our system that it needs time to recuperate, I guess.
Even if I didn't have an answer, just know you're not the only one with this freakish feeling. Lots of luck!
