I have been on Lamictal and Topamax for approximately 4-5 years...

I have been taking Lamictal for about 8 yrs now. I also take Keppra and Dilantin (all in large doses). My memory is gone. Something that may have happened a couple of years ago is all new to me. It sucks when you can not remember your late Mom's voice.

I also have lapses of confusion.

Although these problems are not going to go away, I an now well controlled and haven't had a seizure for over a year.

THANK YOU FOR REPLYING TO MY POST. DO THE DOCTORS KNOW WHICH DRUG CAUSED THE MEMORY LOSS? I WAS ON DILANTIN YEARS AGO, HOWEVER THEN WENT ON TEGRETOL THEN DEPAKOTE. I MOSTLY HAVE MORE STRESS SEIZURES NOW, HOWEVER HAVE NOT IN A WHILE. THE ORIGINAL SZ WERE CAUSED BY A HEAD INJURY. CINDY
