I am a 60yo white male. Started Lisinopril 5mg on 3/15 and within a couple of days experienced light headedness every afternoon. After 10 days medication was decreased to 2.5mg OD. Light headedness went away but I developed a dry cough that usually came on at night (in bed). Was not too much of a problem but then the cough would develop at different times of the day. I have decided that yesterday's dose would be the last. I will schedule an appointment with my doctor. Help...How long will it be for the dry cough to disappear? Throughout the whole time my B/P was right on!
