I am considering takingnToporol. Does it make you feel really tired or dizzy?

Yes - I am on Toprol XL 50mg. I am always always always tired. I never knew why. But all the meds I am on are the culprit --- the Toprol XL, the Altace, the Lipitor. All of them cause me to be chronically tired. My family says I'm lazy. Nah, its the medications that cause this. I can't lose weight, and I am always Tired......

I am a 19 year old female on 150mg of toprol. You are having a lot of the symptoms I have with my heart condition called Inappropriate sinus tachycardia. I have cut all caffeine and alcohol out of my diet and I can not excercise at all. My heart rate is extremely unstable and now I have developed anxiety from it. I get palps all day, along with dizzyness and lightheadedness not to mention the fatigue. But I had all these symptoms before I went on the toprol, except for the tiredness. The med ha kept y heart better in check. Maybe you should ask your doctor about IST, it is extremely hard to diagnose but once it is diagnosed, it gets better.
