every day my feet, legs up to knees, hands and up to mid forearm and face become tingly, numb and very weak to where I cannot get out of my chair or out of bed. Sweaty and chilled, headache, neck ache, thirst. I am on vytorin10/80. 63 yr old female. It sucks!

I think I would get off that stuff asap and tell your doctor to put you on something else if it is nessisary to be on a statin. I was on Crestor and it worked well to the point my joints hurt. The good news is I only had 1 side effect with it as I am (or had) multiple problems with Vytorin (see blog). I stopped a couple days ago and already I feel like a new man. 10/80 is a pretty steep dose. I was only on 10/20 and I felt like crap. I can only imagine what you are going through.

I'm not taking it this weekend at all...then I have to wait of course until Monday to get in the office...I was on zetia and zocor and didn't have this...it may be that i am having anxiety attacks caused by the vytorin and not the myopathy, etc. since it comes and goes at odd times and lasts about an hour and peaks then subsides. thanx
