yeah, i don't get really regular periods anymore either--it does freak you out about being preggers though...i typically get the "emotional cues" that my period is about to start (irratibility, serious food cravings etc etc) then it doesn't start, but the "cues" go away again and i'm back to "normal" or whatever...i've talked with my OB/GYN about this and she says this happens to many women and some want to actually have the monthly reassurance, but others don't mind...i'm still on the fence, i've had other not so fun problems--like serious dryness which cause re-current yeast infections, so that is a kind of drawback i'm dealing with right now...i've been on LoEstrin for about a year and a half--switched from OrthoTriCyclene LO cuz of the serious mood swings, but I'm thinking about switching to something that doesn't dry me out so much...any thoughts anyone???
Shorter lighter periods for some people mean no period at all. I have been on Loestrin 24 for a while and have no period and love it. Just like you, I was concerned the first month so I took a pregnancy test just in case, but now I know it's just an awesome pill.
Yes I am on Loestrin for almost two months now and I have not gotten my period yet. Let's see if I get it at the end of this month. I had the same problem with YAZ. I was on it for 3 months and didn't get a period. My doctor then switched me to Loestrin.
I am also taking Loestrin and I have not had a period in 5 Month's!! I went to the doctor and she said that if I stop taking the pill, I should get it back. I have never had this problem before until taking Loestrin. I would not recommend this birthcontrol to anyone.
I have been on Loestrin for almost a year and I was having lighter periods. Now I am going on my second month of no period.. I heard some woman stopped getting it... I hope there are some other woman who stopped getting it to...
I am 44 years old and went on this pill to stop my heavy bleeding. I haven't had a period on over a year!! That is the only good thing though..... I have acne, weight gain, and severe headaches.
