I'm only 35, but I finished my period two days before the shot, got the shot, and a week later, I have a period again! It can't be a coincidence.
I am 54 years old, have not had a period for 4 years. I had a Kenalog injection 1 week ago and surprise-I appear to be having a period.
I wasn't informed of this side effect!
I talkd to doctors about this and they had "no comment". Its been 4 weeks since period. flashes have come back and so far not another period!
I'll let you know if I get another period....I am thinking I won't,
Perhaps you still have your ovaries; have not had a hysterectomy (you sdidn't say). I just had a kenalog epidural this morning for L3-4 & 'mild' stenosis but my ovaries were removed when I had a hysterectomy 6 years ago. Pain still here but, then again, only 1 treatment, perhaps tomorrow will be better. next treatment in 1 week. ALSO w/ no ovaries how the heck am I supposed to have a period? Hope you're pain remains gone!
I have a esi at l5-s1 coming up on the 25th how has yours gone and how do you feel I have to do this I am allergic to 99% of sterodes and and i was hurt at work and its workrs comp we have to do this befor we can go to surgery any advice
Crystal1016, Hi, Havent had any pain since last shot May 28th. No more periods either...I will take the shots again if I have to before surgury. Good luck.
