Thankfully she was only on it for 8 days! I am happy for you that your family did not have to endure the horrors of Singulair long term. My son was on it for 3 1/2 yrs and still on the road to recovery from it!
I have mentioned before that I was my opinion that patients who had a negative reaction to Singulair would also have a similar response to Zytrec. Not everybody, of course, but there is a good reason why it is possible to have an adverse side effect from both of them.
If I get more feedback as to whether most people react negatively to both, then I will feel more comfortable explaining why.
Neuro-psychiatric side effects are commonly reported in Europe.
I posted about my nephew Dominic and his hallucinations, fears, depression, etc. Dominic has been off the singulair for a little over 3 weeks and is improving daily. Hope you see the same results.
I can completely relate to what you are saying. Our darling, outgoing, happy active 3 year old son just went on Singulair 2 weeks ago. The Dr said it would take 7-10 days to take effect. Well, let me tell you on day 10, he woke up a completely different little boy. It was Saturday all of the kids were outside playing, and he was completely lethargic, kept insisting he was tired, and needed to go to sleep. At one point he said, I'm sick I need to go to bed. He sat by himself as the kids played. He was so not himself it was scary. Last night we stopped the Singulair in hopes that our little boy will be back to himself immediately!!!!!!!!!!
