I, too, had a lot of the side effects you describe, down to the pimples that really required their own zip code, vision changes, bloating, loss of libido, headaches (really bad ones, all the time), murky brown "periods" (when I had one)....only had the thing 5 months. Had it taken out and literally began feeling better as I walked from the Dr's office to my car. It has now been determined that I am completely post-menopausal (I'm 43)....no period since Jan and extremely high FSH coupled with almost non-existent Estradiol and the hot flashes.....so once that was taken out in Feb, no replacement birth control. I wonder what impact the "local" hormone in Mirena had on this process. I had regular periods before I got it. I'm just glad that the scary side effects are gone. I hope that your removal went well and that you start to feel better very soon!
