I am so excited to hear that other women are having issues with Mirena. I thought I was the only one. I had it inserted in Sept 07 and have not stopped bleeding since. My acne has become horrible and unmanageable. I feel extremely depressed for no reason. The only benefit is that I have an increased libido, and it feels great, but all the spotting has discouraged me from participating. I noticed instant weight gain, despite working out at high intensity (700+calories burned per workout) 5 days a week. I had hoped that with time these side effects would subside. The side effects have decreased slightly, but not disappeared completely.
