Im so sorry to hear about this. I am 27 y.o. and totally healthy and active. After ignoring leg pain in my calf because I thought it was muscular... I eventually went to the hospital after I had difficulty breathing. Determined that I have a PE and serious DVT. I was on NR for only 6 weeks. My first blood clots occured only 2 weeks after starting the NR. The only reason I started the NR in the first place was to shrink an ovarian cyst. I have been taking the Lovenox injections 2/day for 3 weeks now because they can't get my Coumadin therapeutic. I tell every girlfriend of mine about the NR. One woman had even been seeing a brain specialist because she thought she had a brain tumor. The result was that she was on NR and was getting migrains and vision problems from that. (NO ONE EVER TOLD HER so they kept getting worse!!) I brought it up to her because migrains and blurred vision were another couple of my symptoms. Shame on NR, tell everyone. Tell your friends... I'm so sorry this happened to you. 6 more months and we'll be back in action. I don't know about you, but this lovenox/coumadin makes me so, so tired. Can hardly make it through the day....
All the best to you
I don't mean to be grafic but did you have any kind of dark discharge before this PE happened? I believe that I am having some of these problems and it is really beginning to scare me.
I don't recall a discharge but that could be an individual thing also.
I too am just completely wiped out. Just thought maybe I was over doing it to begin with but it has been over a month and still no improvement. So I started paging through the literature I was given on the medication to see if fatigue was listed as a possible side effect . . . never found mention of it . . . but nice to know I'm not the only one experiencing it.
