I have a lot of the same symptoms. I read a post similar to these a few weeks ago and I immediately removed my nuvaring. I gained more than 30 pounds within 2 months. I couldn't figure out why I felt so tired & why I have so much excess fluid on my legs and around my feet. I'm glad that I am not alone in this and it is taking some time getting it out of my system.

I started using the ring 6 days ago and have gained 8 pounds. I am in extremely good physical shape;I run 8-10 miles 5 days a week. Eat really carefully. There is no explanation for the weight gain other than the ring. AS I started researching if this is a short time or long term issue--should I hand in there and see if my weight comes back down, I have seen posts that made me take the ring out immediately. For the last few days my heart races. I had weird, deep pains in one of my legs. And I have been in a funk. I thought that was because my weight was so out of control so quickly, but now I see that many others experience depression as a result of the ring. I was advised to take the ring to try to reduce the amount of migraines I get every month. Many of migrains (9-10 per month) are the result of surges and decreases in estrogen so my MD suggested the ring. She said a continuous does of hormones all month should reduce significantly my headaches. So I was willing to try (don't need BC as my husband had a vasectomy). I would rather take migraine medicine 9-10 times a month (I have no side effects at all from Imitrex and it works great at getting rid of the headaches) than have this ring in me causing multiple other scary health issues. And I forgot to mention the yeast infection. My body clearly does not want this foreign "body"/ring in it. I will listen to my body. It's out and in the trash.
