I understand were u are coming from MOMMYJ. I'm having the same problem as you. The only difference is, I had mine placed in November. My fiance' is a little worried about me because he can feel it, but I think it's just the strings. LOL!

No substantial claims? The pharmaceutical companies will love that you have bought the lie, too. Real women with real experiences with no ulterior motive unlike drug reps and their companies are sharing their experiences here and other forums.

I really don't understand why you come across so angry in your post. The reality of this product is that these are very real effects of this medication. The Bayer Corporation printed the actual product monograph for Mirena, however it was only released in Canada, not here in the US. That is why so many women like yourself, as well as physicians are simply uneducated as to the effects this product can cause. I have copied the link for you look into this for yourself, but occasionally this site deletes links. If you are unable to access it, let me know and I'll send it in a private e-mail. Be sure to check out page 10 as it describes all of these side effects, and many more I'm sure you're not aware of. And as for the younger women with no children using Mirena...although the product is not "recommended" for them...that does not make it entirely inappropriate. Many of them have tried other courses of birth control first, and have had great success with Mirena. Most of the women for whom this IS actually marketed are the ones having the most difficult time with the hormonal imbalances and subsequent effects. Good luck to you whatever you choose, but please try not to be so judgemental of others until you have researched all the facts.

your crazy!!!you just got it and if you reread what you wrote you will see you already have bad attitude.I got mine removed last week after only a month and a half because i also have had all the previously stated bad symptoms.It is a known fact these come from mirena. people all over on several different sites have stated the same things are going on or have happened to them. my dr also tried to make me seem like i was crazy and tried to make me keep it. well i have discovered on the interenet that it wasn't just me and i believe dr. do not have enough info havent done enough research, don't care r really don't know as much as they should about it. it needs to be banned did away wit whatever. it's no good it's not healthy and its not safe. I would preferr to have 5 more kids before having to ever get that thing again and I already have three. you just give it a little minute you'll be gettin it out too
