I was on 125 mg of zoloft for 3 year but decided to go off this spring and weaned off very slowly. I have been zoloft free for 10 days and have been experiencing extreme dizziness, fatigue to the point of having to nap every day, wild mood swings and severe hot flashes. I would really would like to stay off but am not sure I can get through this. Any suggested are greatly appreciated!

I just stopped taking Zoloft after about a year, and I stopped abruptly because I switched to Wellbutrin and my doctor didn't tell me to go off slowly. I AM MISERABLE. I just want my Zoloft back. I am hit with extreme dizziness all the time. I am insurmountably exhausted. I have night sweats, crazy dreams, irrtability, agitation, mood swings, confusion, headaches, erratic behavior, and depression. It is making me crazy. Zoloft had caused me to gain a LOT of weight, and I didn't feel as though it was working. This is why I switched to Wellbutrin. I don't know if it's working, but I really want to be back on Zoloft. These withdrawal symptoms are seriously making me nuts. I feel like I'm falling apart. I feel sick and exhausted. I have been all over the net and I cannot find factual information about when this will be over. I read that it might be up to a month or longer. I don't know if I can take it. I just needed to get this out of my system and see if anyone else is having the same symptoms and any help? I did find that Benedryl is supposed to help, so maybe I'll try that.

I just hope I can cope until this is done. I am very depressed.
