Hi, I am 65. When I was in my early 20's I had 11 miscarriages. In 2006 I was diagnosed with Factor Leiden V. I have had three DVT"s and this last spring I had several PE's in both lungs along with a DVT. I have been on coumadin for 10 years. I have had depression for most of my life but the depression I now have 6 months after my PE scare is devastating. I cannot seem to find out if the deep depression is common to people who have had PE's or not. It is the worse and nothing seems to help. I am on several meds for it. I do not even feel like the same person anymore. It is hard to keep going .I am so scared.
