I am a 40 year old female and both my husband and I are taking Lisinopril 40 mg. I have mild tingling in my arms at night, however the tingling/ burning sensation is so great in my husband's arms that he can't sleep at night. His rest is continually interrupted by this uncomfortable sensation. I have noticed a host of things like tiredness, an occasional dry cough, feelings of depression, rapid heart beat, and lack of energy in myself. My husband has experienced all of the above and muscle pain and irritability. I thought his irritability was being caused by lack of sleep, but I have learned from this website that it may be yet another side effect of the medication. We both have to get off this. Thanks for all of your helpful comments.

I started this drug 2 weeks ago, after 3 days, i had what felt like the flue or bad tomatoes. I went to the Dr. that morning and had severe pain across the front of my stomach. I also had some diarrea come on. Those pains shot across me like labor pains for hours. Finally at Dr. office, I got dizzy, sweaty and sick and threw up. I felt better after that but my stomach was swollen and bloated for days and I couldnt eat much. I also had acid reflux earlier which i thought might be part of it. I was sooo sick and he put me on antibiotics (i had also developed a kidney infection at that time).
My other blood pressure pills sometimes made my hands tingle and a third one without the diuretic made my feet swell badly. These make my blood pressure very low also. I was weak and somewhat dizzy. No energy.
After his antibiotic doses< I felt great all next weekend. By next Monday, week 2: I got really bad right side aches. Especially at night. It hurt off and on for 5 days. and quit. I made another appt. and cancelled it. I felt pretty ok this week until last night: stomach pain starting again, but milder.
Then the pin prick sensation across my back all day long. It doesnt hurt.
So I researched Pin Prick... and got to this site. I found what I was looking for> No one related all this to my new medication. I just did. I am going to call Dr. tomorrow morning. Thank you web people for helping me out.
