I am 23 years old and also experienced shortness of breath with no wheezing after my first two shots of the Gardasil vaccine. The first time it happened immediately after the vaccine was administered and the second time it happened about an hour after the vaccination. Thankfully it resolved on its own both times. The doctor did not think it was an allergic reaction, but it is clearly related to the vaccine. I am extremely hesitant to have my third injection. Also - since being vaccinated I have developed a food allergy that I had never had before. I am not sure if this is related, but its possible.

There is no doctor that will easily admit that it is the Gardasil shot that is causing any problems. I have taken my daughter to see 3 different doctors they all say her problems are not realated to the Gardasil shot. Her primary doctor it seems is finally coming around and it at least considering the possibility that the shot is causing all her problems. The breathing problems have finally cleard, it took a month for them to go away, She has since had odd chest pains, pains in her lowere extremities and fatigue. The fatigue is really bad right now. I would reccomend not getting the last shot. There is so much information about this drug we have not been given. Please do a lot of research on this drug, I have and have found very disturbing information. Information I wish I would have know before. I would not have had my daughter vaccinated if I'd known beforehand. Also this support group has been in contact with Erin Brockovich, her firm has agreed to possibly bring on a class action lawsuit against Merck, the maker of the Gardasil shot.
