My father stared on lisinopril on Friday, on Monday his tongue swelled so badly that he lost his airway and by Tuesday he was legally brain dead from lack of oxygen secondary to tongue swelling. Thanks lisinopril for taking my dad.

I'm very sorryto hear about your father. This drug is dangerous I was on it for years and didn't know it was causing me terriable side effects until my scalp and forehead broke out with large boils and uncontrollable itching. My hair started falling out no taste in muth, numbness in both hands at night, bloating, pain in legs bed wetting, anxiety, depression I had these systoms for two years and my doctor told me it was sehoborric dermatis and that I was obsessing about my condition and he wanted to send me to a psychrist. I was pisted and then dropped him my new doctor found out it was a allergic reaction to lisinopril.
