Hi, Probably, it may last up to a few months, as your adrenal glands need time to recover from prednisone. Take 2-3g (2000-3000mg) of the vitamin C, along with a high-quality multi-vitamin complex. The "Ultra Preventive III" and the "Ultra Preventive X" multivitamin formulas from Douglas Labs are very good. It'll speed-up your recovery. Be well, and if at all possible, stay away from corticosteroids as their side effects are many and far-reaching.
