Hi I was on atenenol for a year and half and went through a nighmare.

I had the swollen legs developed staff infection then started getting lilttle blood vessel capillary s red dots popping up all over my body starting at the legs. DR did not think it was the meds but my research proved to be after all the blood test could not identify anything else. I stopped taking and within five days all dots were dispappearing. Lisinopril; I had an allergic reaction with in 3 hrs of taking my first pill, my lips swelled up and it moved down my neck, went to emergency and was pump full of Benadril; at that time I proudly weighed 169. Doctor switched me to Atenanol and this helped my blood pressure, but my weight that I had worked really hard to loose all came back. Now I weigh 230 and have no metabolism...I want something else to take besides Atenanol. Please help!!!
