My doctor doubled by dosage and I was in a stupor for the entire day. When I went back to my usage dosage just to help me sleep, I did feel better
I too am presently taking seroquel 50mg along with depokote 1000 mg. I also take Prozac 20mg. I hate how it makes me feel. I feel dizzy, jittery and weak after awaking the next day. It has started to become an everyday occurence now...I am thinking about calling my doctor to see if my meds could be changed or removed permanently.I read where one should not go off the meds unless doctor approves this.I just have trouble getting into the doctor's office because of work schedule. I am scared of this change in my meds.I have been taking seroquel for about 3 months now...The side effects do not go away or get easier..they just continue to be bothersome and at times; I think it could also become life threatening if I continue to take this med in my thinking process. Could someone please advice me on these meds that I have listed above? That may know more than I do on the side effects of the drug being taken......
when i started seroquel i had the same problem in the morning. i called it a seroquel hangover. it even made me faint a few times when i would stand up a little quickly. but i solved the hang over by allowing myself to get 7-9 hours of sleep at night. if it weren't for seroquel i would never sleep and i feel well rested when i do wake up. i've been on it since jan 07 and it took a while (a few months) to get use to it but i dont mind it. its very important to allow at least 8 hours of sleep on it. otherwise you get the hang over. and when i do get the right amount i wake up with no hang over and feel extremely rested. and the fainting and dizziness went away after a couple of months. and really has helped me from freaking out a lot. but medications work differently for every one. it does take a while to get use to but now i feel good. but when i take a large dose in the morning i still get extremely tired even after 3 or 4 cups of coffee
