My nine year old daughter has been on Singulair for just over a month because of seasonal allergies. Early this morning she woke up with a terrible nose bleed. She has never had a nose bleed in her life before today! Could this be because of the Singulair?

There are 10 cases of nose bleed listed on the adverse drug reaction report from the United Kingdom. I only posted the main categories in order to be brief. When I looked, it was listed.

There are many medications for seasonal allergies. No reason to stay with one that causes a nose bleed for your daughter. Singulair is a gene based drug. We have no idea how many genetic variations actually exist. Or how each individual will react to Singulair.
