Hi, I have had the same as you by the sound of it. After having the Mirena removed in April my hair is still very weak and falling out but the bald patches are showing signs of regrowth. Two weeks after the removal I felt 100% A ok. I still feel a new person and in control of my life whereas on the Mirena I just went with the flow and everything was daunting. I have tried several websites to see if anyone can give me some more details on the hair regrowth side of things but I've not had much success.....perhaps someone will read this and share their hair loss results. I do hope it grows back and things settle down for both of us..xx.
by reshone, Yes I understand your concern. I am going thru the same thing. I had the mirena inserted in June 01.2008 and already notices changes in the center of my head. It is very thin, I have always had long thick head and now I have to wear small braids to cover the spots. I had told my obgyn that the pills for many years had the same effect on me as of 2004. I wanted the tubal but she wanted me to try this. I am trying to find ways to regrow my hair.Right now, I have using Dr.Miracle products hoping that this will help grow my hair. I will have the mirena removed Aug 18 2008 whether , the doctor want me to or not. Please help if you have any advice or answers to hair regrowth
