I'm 46, female.. developed blood clots on my lungs for apparently no reason, found them when going to ER and complaining of bad headache, nausea and left shoulder and back pain. I haven't had a recent surgery, nor was on birth control. I'm dealing with anxiety, depression, unusual headache, horrible back and upper shoulder pain, itching of head, hair falling out during shampooing, , tightness in chest, trouble swallowing, really bad pain in hips, legs and feel like feet swell. I don't sleep well, even on Ambien.. doesn't keep me asleep. I awake in the mornings around 4:30 with diarrhea, nausea, headache and feel awful. Never get a good nights sleep. My hips hurt as well as dealing with parathesias down right arm and into hand.. feels like needles sticking in my hand. Most days I feel wiped out in the afternoon.. as I try and drag myself out of bed to get some excersise. Does anyone deal with parathesia's down their arms or hands.. what feels like nerve pain? Has anyone ever tried Aggrenox, also known as Dipyridamole instead? Or actually tried the real Coumadin, instead of the generic Warfarin? Has any other woman out there been told not to use a tampon when on her cycle, as this will cause more menstrual bleeding? I'm so tired of Dr.'s not having personal experience of their own with this drug.. and telling the patient that they are crazy and need to be on anxiety meds or anti-depressants. I just found out that Warfarin is the main ingredient in RAT POISON.. Has anyone EVER gone the totally nutrition route, juiced and gone radical, telling their Dr.'s that they were getting off of all meds? Does anyone suffer from feeling like their ears are full, or hearing loss? I'm so tired of feeling afraid.. and tossed around by Dr.'s who really don't want to do the research, nor listen to their patients. I'd love to hear from anyone who has some insight..on any or all of the questions..

I have been on Warfarin 6 months for a DVT. I am experiencing depression/anxiety, sensitive to hot and cold, burning sensation inside and can not sleep even on Ambien. I have stopped taking Warfarin as of today and will be on Lovanox now...in hopes that all these symptoms have been caused by the Warfarin???

Are you on birth control? Read the following:
Beware of the birth control pill that allows you to only have a menstrual cycle every 3 months!
Read on.
We knew this young girl. Her mother taught highschool in Treherne before they moved to the Souris/Brandon area a few years ago. There is no real proof what caused these deaths however the main risk factor for blood clots in these young women would be birth control pills.

I am sending this in memory of Greg Campions daughter (22) who passed away in her sleep a week ago last Monday. The funeral was in Brandon
yesterday, December 23, 2008.

MENSTRUAL CYCLE-PLEASE READ! PASS THIS ON EVEN IF YOU DO NOT USE IT

Recently this past week, Nicole Dishuk (age 31...newly graduated student with a doctoral degree about to start her new career as a
Doctor...) was flown into a nearby hospital, because she passed out. They found a blood clot in her neck, and immediately took her by helicopter to the ER to operate. By the time they removed the right half of her skull to relieve the pressure on her brain, the clot had spread to her brain causing severe damage.

Since last Wednesday night, she was battling. They induced her into a coma to stop the blood flow, They operated 3 times. Finally, they said there was nothing left that they could do. They found multiple clots in the left side of her brain. The swelling wouldn't stop, and she was on life support.

She died at 4:30 yesterday. She leaves behind a husband and a 2 year old Brandon and a 4 year old Justin. The CAUSE of DEATH - they found was a birth control she was taking that allows you to only have your period 3 times a year... They said it interrupts life's menstrual cycle, and although it is FDA approved... Shouldn't be - So to the women in my address book – I ask you to boycott this product & deal with your period once a month – so you can live the rest of the months that your life has in store for you.

*Please send this to every woman you know - you may save someone's life... Remember, you have a CYCLE for a reason!
FYI.

The name of this new birth control pill is Lybrel. If you go to http://www.lybrel.com, you will find at least 26 pages of information regarding this drug.

The second birth control pill is, Seasonique. If you go to the website of http://www.seasonique.com, you will find 43 pages of information regarding this drug.

The warnings and side effects regarding both pills are horrible. Please, please forward this information to as many daughters AND sons, co-workers, friends and relatives. Several lives have already been changed.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON EVEN IF YOU DO NOT USE IT

I have so many of the same symptoms...hair loss, sleep disorder, anxiety, difficulty swallowing, parathesia, clogged ear (just one side) as well as ringing in the ear...been in and out of hosp's only to leave without answers as to what may be causing these prob's. Just discovered I have an impacted wisdom tooth (didn't have toothache) but may be the cause of ear issue and numbness. I also get tingling in legs and twitches all over. My mother and aunt both suffer from Multiple Schlerosis, which I'm being to think could be a possibility as well. Hair loss? Have you had your thyroid checked? Mine tested fine and I'm still boggled with what's causing that & breakage... HM
