I just finished my 3 dose this morning for pneumonia. I now am having a all over itchiness with a major red bumpy itchy rash under my chin and its spreading. My scalp and face is itchy too but no rash yet. I should be a test study for meds because I have a long list of drugs I can't take. I will go back to urgent care in the morning, I guess. I was mis-diagnosed with Lymes, given amoxicillin, apparently not strong enough. I became way worse over the next 2 days, high fever, lethargic, nasty cough. Chest xray = pneumonia. I don't know what drugs are left for me!?!

How long did it take for your symptoms to go away completely?

Hi,I wanted to ask you how long it took the sympthoms to go away to feel 100% recoverd from this drug. I took it for 3 days, and now it has been 9 days since I don't take it and I still feel terrible pressure in my head, I feel lightheaded, and I have a terrible back pain. I really hope I will recover. Please let me know how long it took you to d that.

Why do you assume it was the Avalox that caused your symptoms? Perhaps you have developed another problem, unrelated to either the Avelox or the UTI, that is causing your symptoms. If you are still having these symptoms several days after stoppin the Avelox, it's probably unrelated to the Avelox.
