I've been an extremely healthy and active individual all my life until I injured my back at work recently. I'm 36 years old and had back surgery in February 2008. I subsequently developed a severe DVT in my right leg which then turned into bilateral PE's. I've been on Warfarin since April 2008 and continue to feel extremely lightheaded, dizzy, and very weak. My blood pressure and heart rate have steadily climbed. The symptoms have been passed off as factors of the PE's, but I have been off of Warfarin for a couple short periods due to additional procedures and have felt better. My doctors say that my symptoms are not due to Warfarin and I've been thinking that I'm dying from something else as they run test after test with no real results. I wish I could find out if Warfarin is truly to blame. I thought maybe I was going crazy about also having difficulty concentrating and remembering simple things. I can't deal with living like this forever.
