Not a cureall, but ask your doctor about pressure stockings. Not pretty, but I did find that they helped with aches and pains to some extent during 'bad periods".

I am a 27 year old female and had a PE in the lung three months ago. I have had weird bone, muscle, and joint pains which have been increasing. I have also had headaches and blurry vision. I have spent literally hundreds of dollars going to various doctors and getting many different tests done. No one has ever mentioned to me that these could be side affects of warfarin. I have become tremendously depressed that I have a degenerative disease that no one seems to be able to identify. While this should be the happiest time of my life as I am getting married in July, these pains sometimes have made me consider if I should be planning my funeral instead.However, now I am glad to become aware that I am not alone and that many other people are experiencing the same thing.
