my doctor not only didn't tell me to mix the two but he also didn't tell me that taking antibiotics would make my birth control ineffective, i became curious when i read the prednisone bottle that said it may cause a lack of the immune system to fight off infections. I don't know if I have bronchitis or pneumonia or what yet but I had a feeling that I shouldn't have been taking both and now I am at a high risk of being pregnant. my boyfriend and I weren't expecting that and although we have been together for over a year and a half we are scared to death and feel helpless... oh and 6 months before when i had visited my doctor when the symptoms of a serious throat infestion showed up I told him i couldn't swallow and that my throat was hurting really badly. . I was prescribed anti-depressants without him even looking in my throat,. wow. i guess when they don't know what to do they just prescribe those things now.. someone please write back!
