I have been on Advair 250/50 for 5 years for asthma. I'm a 48 year old female. I have experienced severe hoarsness and my voice is rough sounding. Some days I am so hoarse that others have a hard time understanding me. I have had 5 kidney stones in the last 5 years, never had one before taking Advair. I had the last one a month ago and it was so large I had to have surgery. I experience nausea about once a day. I seem to always have a headache. I feel tired all of the time. Over the last year I have developed high blood pressure. I have gained 20 pounds. I have rashes on my upper arms that comes and goes. I experience mood swings. The Advair does control my asthma, but these side effects are too much anymore, especially the hoarseness. I am going to ask my doctor for other solutions.

hi, i was put on advair for my copd an asthma, well, it helped for awhile off an on, but then, i caught a virus an my advair was raised , then i went outside to sit under the umbrella for about 10 min when i started to feel better from my virus, down about a month,, i was not in the direct sun, but i got a sunburn, it damged my arms up to my shirt sleeves, i had red pimples raise, then burst under the skin, had bumps under my skin, my skin tore easily an every thing i scraped or bumped against, not hard, caused dark blood brusing. its been way over a yr, an i still bruise easy, have a appt with a dermatologist in nov or dec, hope they can do something, my skin hurts even when i take a shower an the water hits my arms, not as bad now, but before, it hurt pretty bad, i have been trying to find out how to sue this company for these injurys an no , it was not in the papers i got with the meds from the pharmacy to stay out of the sun, i was not even in the direct sun, so i advise anyone to stay the heck off of advair, it isnt worth it. didnt help that much either, caused me to feel some better an then i got worse an had to get off, it was off an on for a long time, until this skin thing happened, now i wont touch it. hope this helps someone before they take it, susie
