I have been taking claritin for about a year. My hair is falling out a lot and I also experienced an episode when I lost my memory for about 6 hours and have no idea what happened in that time period. My daughter took me to the emergency room and they couldn't find anything wrong. Never mentioned that claritin could cause this and I just started doing the research on the side effects and ran across the hair loss and memory loss. No more claritin for me

I have been taking Claritin D 12 hour extended for 4 months and have also noticed a thinning of the hair. I keep finding my hair all over the house! Did your hair stop shedding after you stopped taking the Claritin? I just stopped a few days ago and am hoping for improvement.
