I have experienced a gradual decrease in my sex drive and occasional swelling of the lower legs and ankle over the last two years. It was subtle, so I made no connection to Nifedipine or Diovan. I am an African American male and this was recommended by my doctor to be good for my sexual drive and my ethnicity. She is either grossly misinformed or not particularly concerned so long as my B/P remains down. Does anyone have any suggestions for alternatives that don't make you have the libido of a six year old?
