My doctor just prescribed this medicine for me, and I'm afraid to take it after reading all the side effects.

Is there any good news about lisinopril-hctz??

I was on Levaquin for 5-6 WEEKS back in January. I have been in SEVERE PAIN ever since!
The tendons in my rt shoulder, right elbow and rt wrist hurt so bad I thought for sure I'd die. After reading of possible ruptures I consider myself LUCKY that didn't happen!
Since January I have had joint and muscle pain that goes beyond description. I am on 100mgs of morphine a day for a congential back problem along with 2 back injuries and the PAIN from the Levaquin breaks through the morphine. I shudder to even imagine what the pain level would be if I wasn't already on morphine because it is beyond description this new pain in the joints and muscles!
The tendons in my shoulder wrist and elbow flare up every few weeks but not to the level of the 1st episode.
BTW, the FDA just put a 'black box warning' on Levaquin and Cipro this week. Amazing huh?

Its July, I've been hurting since January.....I see no end in sight in regards to this pain associated with the Levaquin.
I'd like to give others hope that it will get better.....but it seems to wax and wane, up and down, appear and reappear, stay and set up camp. Its so unpredictable.

There is a link to report to the FDA about the bad drugs we were given and the impact the drugs have had on our lives.
The support group is small for now but growing as I'm finding more and more victims.
You will be BELIEVED and hopefully comforted by others who know all too well what we're going through.

We'd love you you to join us. You're allowed to rant, rave, be mad, scream and know that we do understand how unfair we're being treated by the FDA, the prescribing Drs AND any new Drs we meet as we seek help yet don't believe us. (funny I don't have the money to WASTE on a Dr only to be disbelieved)
