I was on simvastatin 40mgs for just over six months because at the time the doctor thought I had stable angina....thankfully I don't
During which time I have never felt so ill, I couldn't even walk to the local shops and have been a keen walker all my life.
Every muscle seemed to be so weak this included my heart muscle which showed up on a echocardiogram as well.
I couldn't stand it any longer so came off them fives weeks ago my self, then thought I should tell my GP he actually was ok about it ,I had a blood test done for myoslitis that came back ok ,.......but liver test didn't showed enzymes were higher than they should be.
I am feeling slightly better not much though and worry I will never feel like my old self again.
I have started taking fish oils and co enzyme 10 but only 30 mgs a day.
If you could give me any advise I would be very grateful.
I am now thinking it will be I thing I will have to live with, good thing my GP agrees not to put me back on them because of the effect they have had wish I had never taken them
.
