I could have written this. I was on Fosamax since 2000, the weekly. Four weeks ago the insurance company switched me to generic. Thursday, huge pain top and side and rear of thigh going down to the knee. Could barely walk at times. Once it went away for a few hours. Sleeping was painful. Now, six days into it, it feels pretty good. Though it hurt most after sitting and then standing.
Please read the posting I just entered. I began with leg pain similar to yours and ended up with stress fractures in both femurs.
