I posted the other day and I'm getting mine removed tomorrow A.M....

I had mine for 5 months, had it taken out in Feb of this year during my annual exam. Taking it out was nothing -- at least that was my experience --felt a very slight pinch, less than what you feel with a pap, and it was over. Matter of fact, the Dr was kidding with me, told me "Are you sure you want it out?" when in fact it was already done! I hope that your experience will be as painless as mine. My side effects began improving literally before I even got to my car!!

Serious! This is your best decision! I had mirena removed less than a month ago and I was very scared about the pain or damage. I had no problem and it came out just like a pinch. As far I know, if the mirena is placed in the right spot, the removal is easy and damage is nothing. CONGRATULATIONS for yor decision. I felt better on the same day! I just bled for 2 weeks, but no complain. Good luck!
