i absolutely hate this pill. i have only been on it for a couple of days and i feel like im going to die! my breasts are not tender but i constantly have headaches, diarrhea and vomit all the time. I hate it but then again im not gonna say its the worst pill bc its the first time i am on birth control. i don't know if i should keep taking it or just stop. also, im a little confused on how to take the pill bc my doctor just handed it to me without telling me ANYTHING about it even when i told him i have never been on any kind of pill before. he was dumb. if anyone can please explain to me how to take them i would really appreciate it. i am just nervous that my period wont come once i get to the brown pill and what if i take all the brown pills and it doesn't come? what do i do? start a new pack? im sorry if i sound dumb but my doctor shouldve told me everything about this pill before he prescribed it to me.

You need to take the pill around the same time every day. If you take it in the morning, try to take it at least before lunch. Most of the negative side effects will go away after three months. If they don't ask your doctor to let you try another pill. Yasmin is pretty good. Also, try and find another doctor, yours sounds like a jerk! I have found that a female is better, they know how you are feeling and are more sympathetic and understanding. Good Luck!

It is OK if you don't get your period when you reach the brown pills. Just take them and start a new pack once you've finished. It is very common to skip periods when starting a new pill because your body needs to adjust to it. To me, 3 months seems like a long time to be feeling so awful so if you continue to experience the side effects during the next few weeks you should talk to a doctor about switching. I think your doctor should be more helpful but to tell you the truth I had the same experience with my doctor. She didn't explain anything. I find that much of the time, pharmacists have better drug knowledge and can give thorough answers to your questions. Hope this helps.
