I have been using the nuvaring for about 2 years now and have LOVED it. Especially not having to worry about taking a pill everyday. It is very convenient. I have however had problems with the nuvaring irritating the inside of my vagina. I was concerned about bleeding during intercourse and after seeing numerous doctors, discovered that the ring has been causing it all along. It is unfortunate because I have found a convenient form of birth control that I love. Has anyone else had this problem?

I love the Nuva Ring too! I was on it for a little while and then took a break. I recently started back on it and am having symptoms that I had before. I didn't realize it was the NR before but am thinking that is the cause of my discomforts. I am having irritation inside my vagina also and lately it has hurt to have sex. I thought maybe that was a normal thing to happen every now and then because of sex but after reading some of the NR symptoms from other women, I'm thinking it is the cause. I am so sensitive and sore, I can't enjoy being with my boyfriend. I love the NR and hate taking a pill every day but I may have to change back. Also, my boyfriend feels really bad because he thinks it's his fault. Are you having the same difficulties?
