Hello ladies... Ive been reading everyones posts and have to agree on some of the side effects.. Ive had my mirena for 10 months now and haven't had any symptoms for about 4 months. My first 6 month were like all the rest of ya'lls.. headaches, cramps, non stop bleeding, acne, weight gain, even my hair was falling out... I was miserable.. but i kept telling myself that it will all go away over time. Well I was right, Now I have little or no spotting.. No cramps, my face cleared up, hair is as beautiful as ever, and i lost about 25lbs.. I had worried at first, thought maybe i was pregnant but went to the doctor and the results were negative. Mirena is doing exactly what it should and all is well. Even my sex drive is totally hugh as well.. its nuts ..
